FloorAid Terms & Conditions

1. What’s Included

• Up to 20 square meters of new, unused, standard supplier-grade carpet donated per approved household.
• Includes 8mm underlay, professional installation, and removal/disposal of existing flooring (for the same area).
• Carpet type and colour will depend on available stock, including surplus or discontinued ranges — all of which are brand new and meet industry standards.

2. Eligibility

• Open to homeowners and renters who are experiencing financial hardship or are in genuine need.
• Renters must provide written approval from their landlord, real estate agent, or housing provider for the installation.
• Applications are reviewed monthly, with priority given to households facing urgent or vulnerable living conditions.
• Only available for Macarthur residents.

3. Limitations

• FloorAid supports one approved application per household.
• Donation is capped at 20 square meters of carpet flooring.
• Additional coverage or premium materials are not included.
• Carpet selection is based on available stock, and no specific product requests can be accommodated.

4. Cost & Conditions

• All products and services — including carpet, underlay, installation, and removal — are provided 100% free of charge.
• No financial contribution is required from the applicant.
• There are no questions asked, no strings attached — just support offered in the spirit of community care.

5. Transparency & Trust

• All donated materials are new and fit for installation — never second-hand or previously used.
• Recipients’ privacy and dignity are respected at every step.
• Gorkha Flooring reserves the right to adjust availability or timelines based on stock, resources, and demand.
• Misuse or misrepresentation of need may result in disqualification from the program.
